Hybrid Stationary Phases
YMC-TriArt Prep.

Scalable and pH stable:

First truly preparative scale C8 and C18 hybrid phases available in large lot sizes

YMC-Triart Prep.YMC has introduced a new concept in hybrid stationary phases named YMC-TriArt for C8 and C18 preparative scale materials. 30 years of experience developing processes for the purification of Insulin and other peptides have gone into the design of this hybrid material stationary phase. The multilayered pH-stable hybrid particle succeeds where even modern materials often fail. With a careful balance between hydrophobicity and silanol activity, the new material performs similar to standard ODS or C8 materials. At the same time, it is stable in a large pH range from pH = 1-12! This means YMC-TriArt sets a new benchmark for chemical stability (hier link zum Tab Chemical stability). Not only does this widen the applicable pH range for the mobile phase usable. Most importantly, it significantly increases the durability of the material during cleaning in place (CIP) cycles. Owing to the selectivity being very similar to existing ODS and C8 phases it can be possible to substitute current material in existing processes with only little adaptation of the process parameters. Such a step can increase productivity tremendously because of longer runtimes and less downtimes due to column repacking.

With an innovative production process based on micro reaction technology, excellent reproducibility, a very narrow pore size distribution and very well defined mechanically stable hybrid particles are guaranteed. This warrants highly economical separations with high loading capacity.

What’s more: YMC-TriArt is the first hybrid material readily available in multi kg bulk quantities, ready for large scale preparative applications

All the above makes YMC-TriArt “first choice” for the development of cost effective production processes.
