YMC SB columns, with a manually adjustable column head, allow readjustment of the piston at the top of the column. This prevents void formation at the column inlet as a result of bed height changes during operation.

YMC SB columns allow convenient column packing of virtually any kind of packing material and assure efficient and stable beds in pilot or production columns. A packing adapter kit is available on request, making the column suitable for a wide variety of production processes utilising different stationary and mobile phases.

A packing/refill service for YMC SB columns at YMC is available on request. YMC pre-packed SB columns are tested individually and supplied with a column inspection report.
