Automatic operation
The pump is capable of operating in manual mode of up to 8 fully automatically programmes each of 16 hours maximum duration in 40 steps. Control may be either from the pump itself or via the RS232 (RS422 optional) port from an external computer where any number of programmes may be installed.

Manual and programmed gradient
A flow rate or elution gradient (two, three, or four eluents) can be programmed and modified manually or automatically at any time during a run. The internal volume of the gradient former can be adjusted manually via a plunger.
